Cancellation, Return, Exchange & Refund Policy

At Status Quo, we want every purchase to be one you love. This policy explains your options if you need to cancel, return, exchange, or get a refund on an order. For any questions, reach us at info@statusquo.in.
1. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel an order before it has been dispatched from our warehouse.
How to cancel:
- Email us at info@statusquo.in with your order number.
- We will confirm whether your order has been shipped or not within 24 hours.
- If not yet shipped, we will cancel and process a full refund within 5–7 business days.
If your order has already shipped:
Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible. You may initiate a return once you receive the product by following the return process below.
2. Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for the following reasons:
2.1 Defective or Incorrect Product
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered:
- Report it within 15 days of delivery.
- Attach photo or video proof when raising your return request.
- We will arrange a free pickup from your address.
- A full refund or replacement will be issued once we verify the product.
2.2 Size or Fit Issues / Change of Mind
If you are unhappy with a product for any reason (wrong size, not as expected, change of mind):
- Initiate a return within 15 days of delivery.
- The product must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
- All original tags must be intact and attached to the product.
- The product must be in its original undamaged packaging.
- Combo packs must be returned as a complete set — partial returns are not accepted.
2.3 What Cannot Be Returned
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Products without their original identification tags.
- Washed, worn, or altered products.
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper care.
- Items marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product page.
- Gift cards.
2.4 Gifts
If you received a product as a gift, the original purchaser must initiate the return. We are unable to process returns directly from gift recipients at this time.
3. How to Initiate a Return
All returns are managed through our Return portal (powered by Return Prime).
Step 1 — Visit our return portal:
Go to statusquo.in/apps/return_prime or log into your account and navigate to Orders > Returns.
Step 2 — Enter your details:
Enter your Order ID (format: SQ-WSXXXX) and your registered mobile number or email address.
Step 3 — Select items and reason:
Select the product(s) you wish to return and provide a reason. You may attach photo or video proof.
Step 4 — Choose return type:
Select whether you want a Refund, Exchange, or Store Credit.
Step 5 — Schedule pickup:
We will arrange a pickup from your address within 2–4 business days. Please keep the item packed and ready.
Important: Once you have raised a return for one item in an order, you cannot raise a second return for a different item in the same order. Please include all items you wish to return in a single request.
4. Exchanges
We currently do not offer product exchanges or size exchanges. If you have received an incorrect or defective product, or if you are unhappy with your purchase, please initiate a return as described in Section 2 and select your preferred refund mode.
We apologise for any inconvenience. If you need a different size or product, please place a new order on statusquo.in after your refund has been processed.
5. Refund Policy
When creating your return request, you will be asked to select your preferred refund mode. We offer three options:
Option 1 — Original Payment Method
Available for prepaid orders (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallets). The refund is credited back to the same account or instrument used at the time of purchase.
Option 2 — Bank Account
Available for all orders including COD. You will need to provide your bank account details (account number and IFSC code) during the return request. The refund is transferred directly to your bank account via NEFT.
Option 3 — Gift Card
Available for all orders. The refund amount is issued as a Status Quo Gift Card, which can be used on any future purchase at statusquo.in. Gift Cards do not have an expiry date.
5.1 Refund Timeline
Regardless of the mode you select, refunds are initiated within 2–5 working days from the date we receive your returned product and complete our quality inspection.
- Day 0 — Product received at our warehouse
- Day 1–2 — Quality inspection completed
- Day 2–5 — Refund initiated to your selected mode
- Additional 2–3 working days — For bank/card credits to reflect (depending on your bank)
If the refund is not received within 7 working days of initiation, please contact your bank first. If the issue persists, write to us at info@statusquo.in with your order ID and return reference number.
